Domira Home Care was founded by Nick Julian, a nurse and Certified Dementia Practitioner with experience across home health, hospice, home care, memory care, and post-acute operations.
Over the years, Nick saw that families often needed more than simply finding someone to help at home. They needed consistent caregivers, better communication, thoughtful matching, reliable follow-up, and someone taking responsibility for how the overall care experience was working.
Domira was created to bring that structure and accountability to non-medical home care. Nick remains directly involved in the start of care, caregiver matching, family communication, and ongoing oversight.
Our approach begins with the person, not a checklist of tasks. We look at what each client can and wants to continue doing independently, where support would make daily life safer or easier, and how care can fit naturally into established routines and preferences.
We believe good home care should support independence rather than unnecessarily replace it. Caregivers assist where appropriate while encouraging clients to remain involved in their own daily lives.
We also recognize that care affects the entire family. Thoughtful professional support can help a spouse remain primarily a spouse or partner and allow adult children to remain family, rather than becoming the entire care system.
