About HomeCareAtlas

HomeCareAtlas is a technology platform built for independent, non-medical home care agencies. We help agency owners manage scheduling, caregiver compliance, and shift coverage — replacing the spreadsheets, phone calls, and paper records that most small agencies still rely on.

Our Partner Coverage feature is the first agency-to-agency staffing network for home care. When a caregiver calls out, agencies post the shift to the network and partner agencies send qualified replacements within minutes. A strict no-poaching agreement protects every agency's client relationships.

We also offer a step-by-step licensing tool for aspiring agency owners, guiding them through the complex state registration process that typically costs $3,000-$5,000 in consulting fees.

HomeCareAtlas was founded by a home care agency owner who experienced these problems firsthand.

The home care industry

The US home care market is valued at over $100 billion and growing as the population ages. There are roughly 34,000 home care agencies in the US, the vast majority of which are small, independently owned businesses.

Most of these agencies operate with minimal technology — managing schedules in Google Sheets, tracking caregiver certifications on paper, and filling last-minute call-outs through frantic phone calls. When a caregiver does not show up, clients — often elderly or disabled individuals — can go without essential care.

HomeCareAtlas is building the infrastructure to help these small agencies operate more reliably, stay compliant with state regulations, and support each other through the Partner Coverage network.
