The team works with families to understand each client’s routine, abilities and care needs, then creates a personal care plan and matches the client with a caregiver or CNA. Services can include companionship, personal care, meals, mobility support, dementia care, errands, medication reminders, respite care and extended-hour support. Chris Breneman founded Ease in the Home in 2017 after experiencing his mother Dorian’s Alzheimer’s and memory-care journey. His family’s experience shaped his belief that families need clear guidance, compassionate caregivers and leaders who remain personally involved in the care process. Chris created Ease in the Home to honor his mother’s memory and give other families a more personal option when they need support at home. He is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner, bringing added knowledge of dementia and memory-care needs to the company’s approach.
Our philosophy is that home care should fit the person, not force the person into a standard package. We begin by listening to the client and family, learning about daily routines, preferences, abilities and concerns. Care is then built around dignity, trust, comfort, communication and strong relationships. Caregivers and CNAs are matched based on the client’s needs, experience requirements, schedule and personality. As needs change, the local care team can review and adjust the plan so support continues to fit the client’s life at home.
