The Story Behind Glorious
A Journey Inspired by a Mother’s Calling
For Tunji Otah, caring for others has never simply been a profession—it has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember.
Her journey began by watching her mother, a nurse, dedicate herself to caring for others. From an early age, Tunji saw firsthand the compassion, patience, responsibility, and commitment that quality care requires. Her mother became more than a role model; she became the inspiration that would eventually shape Tunji’s own path in healthcare.
Inspired by her mother’s example, Tunji began her own journey in caregiving. Working directly with individuals who needed support gave her a deeper understanding of the importance of compassionate, dependable care. She experienced firsthand how something as simple as helping someone with their daily routine, listening to their concerns, or simply being present could make a meaningful difference in their life.
Wanting to grow her knowledge and ability to serve others, Tunji continued advancing her career in healthcare and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). This experience gave her an even greater understanding of the physical, emotional, and personal needs of individuals receiving care.
Over the years, Tunji came to understand that families need more than someone to simply perform caregiving tasks. They need someone they can trust. They need caregivers who treat their loved ones with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion. And they need the reassurance that their family member is safe, valued, and cared for.
That understanding became the foundation for Glorious Home Care Assistance.
